Prince William and Kate Middleton’s luxe vacation

Prince William and Kate Middleton are enjoying a little rest and relaxation on the Caribbean island of Mustique. Get all the details on their $23,000 per week mansion.

The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge have escaped to the Caribbean! Prince William and Kate Middleton are vacationing on the island of Mustique, along with Middleton’s family, including her parents, brother and sister, Pippa.

The royal couple and her family are staying at Aurora House, which reportedly costs $23,000 per week to rent. The beautiful property includes three bedroom suites,  as well as a dining gazebo and five private terraces. The property includes a butler, chef — and even an island dog named Reggie!

What will William and Kate do to relax? They can lounge at the beautiful pool or enjoy other activities, including snorkeling, horseback riding and tennis.

The royal couple may be enjoying themselves in Mustique, however other tourists on the island are irritated that security guards are restricting their access. Tourists have not been allowed to rent golf carts or rented mules to get around the island and are being questioned by security guards before going to some of the beaches.

“This isn’t exactly the way one expects to be treated when you pay very good money to visit the most exclusive island in the Caribbean,” one tourist complained to the U.K.’s Daily Mail.

This is the second time that William and Kate have traveled to Mustique. They enjoyed a romantic getaway at this tropical destination when they were dating in 2006.

The Middletons arrived at the island first and Prince William joined them after his military shift in Wales finished up. After his luxurious Caribbean vacation, William will next head to the Falkland Islands as a search and rescue helicopter pilot for six weeks.
