The Bachelor’s Emily: “Courtney is self centered!

Okay, there technically wasn’t a full-on Bachelor brawl, but metaphorically speaking, Emily and Courtney threw down and you know what? Em’s got a little shady lady inside of her.

Horseback riding in Park City, Utah with eight beautiful women on The Bachelor couldn’t save Ben Flajnik from the perfect storm that was Courtney and Emily — we’re still giggling over Emily’s attempt to take Courtney down — it totally didn’t work.

Seriously, who would have thought sweet little Emily would have the cojones to go toe-to-toe with the girl sporting a giant target on her back?

The girls were obviously fine with someone else doing their dirty work — Courtney’s been getting the crooked eye from all of them for the past few episodes.

Before the ladies brought out the claws, however, Ben coaxed Rachel into opening up on their one-on-one date — thank goodness! She was five seconds away from getting dumped with no rose.

Rachel wasn’t the only one to land a one-on-one rose. Jennifer’s sweet and romantic date where the two were serenaded by Clay Walker was a complete success.

So, where did it all go wrong? You could say it was the fly fishing during the group date.

Courtney was determined to turn the group date into a “one-on-one date” and according to her, “these other girls don’t know I’m the prize and I do.”

You know that game where you take your fingers and pretend to squish someone’s head in between them? Yeah, if every girl could have been doing that, they would have been.

This girl’s a nightmare. We agree with Emily’s assessment that “Courtney is condescending and self centered.”

Ready for a shocker? During the evening party, Ben said “see ya later” to Samantha who felt she should “already have a ring on her finger.” Pushy much?

Samantha’s exit wasn’t the only downer of the night. Courtney got under everyone’s skin! She used the guilt factor to get the group date rose! She whined about needing reassurance and how she felt she was losing her connection with Ben.

This sent Kacie B. into a rage over his decision, but she kept it classy, leaving the real verbal smackdown, if you can call it that, for Emily to deliver.

Emily decided to play leader of the pack during the rose ceremony’s cocktail hour. She blabbed to Ben on behalf of everyone — Courtney’s two-faced.

He actually played it off and told her that by putting thought into the situation it would be her demise — basically, think more about him and less about the Courtmonster!

Casey S. immediately ran and told her BFF Courtney what Emily did — cue the claws.

Courtney said she wanted to “rip her head off and verbally assault” Emily. Meow. An all-out war erupted. Courtney got bleeped, Emily got in her face — it was beautiful.

Emily was so close to being our hero — until she backed down and blubbered into the camera about not being used to situations like this. Blah, blah, blah. She let us down.

After the fireworks fizzled, joining Samantha in saying goodbye was Monica, leaving the lucky 11 ladies…
