Will the end of a second season also be Camille Grammer‘s swan song as a Beverly Hills Housewife?
The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills (RHOBH) wrapped up its second season on Bravo on Monday night.
The 60-minute season ender gave docu-soap fanatics an opportunity to savor what could be the last reality outing for flame-spitting fan favorite Camille Grammer.
Word on the curb is producers of the TV hit are auditioning potential ladies to replace the loose-lipped jilted bride of actor Kelsey Grammer.
Camille’s tenure with The Real Housewives franchise has offered fans as bird’s eye view of her nasty bust-up with the Boss star, and the warring exes’ battle over custody of their two young children.
So viewers may be surprised to learn that Camille, 43, will almost certainly not be returning for another season of dinner parties and catfights in the Hollywood Hills.
A Bravo network insider spilled the scoop to Radar Online this month.
“Producers are asking Lisa Vanderpump, Adrienne Maloof and Kyle Richards if any of their wealthy female friends would be interested in appearing on the show,” said the snoop.
“It’s an open secret that Camille most likely won’t be back for a third season. She came off as such a b***h during season one, whereas this season she has been very reserved…”

Camille hasn’t exactly denied the rumors about her future on the RHOBH. According to the one-time Playboy model, Bravo honchos (also known as Andy Cohen & the Crew) are considering recasting the Beverly Hills gang ahead of the show’s upcoming third season.
In the meantime, they’re holding off on renewing her contract.
“I had a good year, so I would want to go back for a third season. But they haven’t asked me yet, so I wonder what’s going on with that,” Grammer revealed last week.
“I guess they decided who they want and I guess they are going to start casting, looking for new housewives. They told me they were going to start looking so it wasn’t behind my back. They were like, ‘Sorry we are doing a big casting call.’ I was like, ‘Thanks.'”
It wouldn’t be the first time Bravo fired one of its soap-starring socialites. Last fall, the network famously booted Big Apple hobnobbers Jill Zarin, Kelly Bensimon, Cindy Barshop and Alex McCord from the cast of the franchise’s popular Real Housewives of New York series.
