Bruce Jenner says he rarely knows of the major life decisions of his stepkids before the rest of us do — but he has some advice for them anyway.
If Bruce Jenner seems totally out of the loop on Keeping Up with the Kardashians, rest assured that at least that part of the show is real. Jenner says his wife and stepkids don’t include him in their family dramas and he usually finds out about their major life decisions the same way we do: the tabloids.
“Actually, I found out she was getting divorced by hearing about it on the news and stuff,” Jenner revealed about how he found out Kim Kardashian is divorcing Kris Humphries. “I was like, the last to know. But I could hear telephone conversations in other rooms happening and I knew something was up but I didn’t know it was that bad until after.”

This no-tell policy is nothing new. Jenner only found out that Khloe Kardashian was to marry Lamar Odom when he saw it on the news.
That doesn’t stop Jenner from giving them advice — but only when they ask for it.
“I’m smart enough to stay out of all those things,” he told OK! magazine.
“I have given them advice throughout the years, but in this particular case I kept my mouth shut. I didn’t want to… you don’t get involved in love. Just hope for the best.”
“Kim, she’s really such a great, great kid. She’s always been that way. Smart, intelligent, extraordinarily hardworking and I hope nothing but the best for her and so I just said, ‘Just continue. You’re going to take a lot of heat for this. Just continue to be the same good person you’ve always been.’ And I think she has and I said, that’s about all you can do right now.”
Whatever do he and Kris Jenner talk about all day? Perhaps how O.J. Simpson could be Khloe’s real father?
