Newlywed Sherri Shepherd tells SheKnows her hooker costume from One for the Money is coming in handy at home!
The View co-host Sherri Shepherd is no stranger to being opinionated on camera. But in One for the Money, the movie based on the hit Janet Evanovich book, she does it in a mini skirt, platforms and a crop top.
“My husband loved it,” Shepherd told SheKnows. “He was like, bring all those clothes home!”
Shepherd and hubby Lamar Sally have been married for about five months, and clearly they aren’t having any trouble keeping things hot since tying the knot. Shepherd told us role-playing is a normal part of their romance routine.
“We like to have a little fun every now and then,” Shepherd told us. “We’ll go somewhere and he’ll be the insurance salesman and I might play little Lula, and you never know what’s going to come out.”
Lula is Shepherd’s street-walking persona in the film and understandably a turn-on for her man. On a regular basis though, Sally and Shepherd keep things a little more PG.
Shepherd told us her ideal date night consists of, “Dinner, a movie and then our son Jeffery comes and jumps on the couch with us.”
But the real key to keeping the romance alive, says Shepherd, is praising each other.
“We make sure we take each other out, and we compliment each other,” she told SheKnows. “He loves to compliment me. And he’s 6-foot-6, 280 pounds and I love to compliment him.”

With Valentine’s Day coming up, Sherri said she knows just what her man would love.
“Some hot chocolate and some wax,” she laughed. “I’m very romantic. We could go somewhere and have a romantic, amazing dinner and then do the wax and the hot chocolate… a little compromise there.”
Sounds like an evening they won’t forget!
