Alert Tebow, Kim K. wants to start a Bible study group

Bible study for Kim Kardashian?! The modern-day sex symbol is showing off her religious side in hopes of landing a new man — NFL ace Tim Tebow, according to new reports.

Kim Kardashian isn’t known for her saintly ways, but that could be about to change.

Tim Tebow has that effect on women.

The soon-to-be two-time divorcée apparently has a new reason to drop to her knees: Praying. Kardashian joined friends at a Sunrise service in Los Angeles over the weekend (stop laughing…), and naturally, the reality vixen was sure to let her 12 million-plus Twitter followers know all about it.

“On my way to church with the girls!” she posted.

“I want to start a bible study group with my friends!” Kim added a short time later.

(Enough with the giggling!)

Gossip gawkers believe they can explain the brunette beauty’s newfound interest in religion — and perhaps not surprisingly it involves a man whose name isn’t Peter, Paul or Jesus.

Naysayers believe Kim’s budding relationship with God is all part of an attempt to bag a date with Tebow, starting quarterback for the Denver Broncos. The former Florida State University football ace is not only a favorite of tailgaters in the Rockies, but also a devoted Christian.

Tebowing — getting down on one knee to pray in a crowd no matter what else is going on — has made the footballer an easy target for ridicule… and beauties. Olympian Lindsey Vonn and pop star Katy Perry have allegedly expressed interest in the NFL hunk.

Now it seems we can add Kim to the fray.

Kim Kardashian breaks down over marriage breakdown >>

“Kim has a big crush on Tim. She says he’s not only very handsome but seems like a guy with really strong values,” an In Touch Weekly snoop said last week.

Interestingly enough, in Sunday’s second season finale of her E! docu-soap, Kourtney and Kim Take New York, Kim admitted she found it particularly “hard” to split from Kris Humphries, her estranged husband of 72 days, because he possesses the Christian qualities she finds so important in a partner.

“It’s hard for me. He has a good heart, he’s a Christian — everything on paper I want in someone, but for some reason, my heart isn’t connecting,” Kim told her sister Kourtney, dabbing away tears.

We wonder how many peeps will be up for immersing themselves in Biblical study with Kim K. as group leader? It’d certainly make for some entertaining reality TV.
