Kim Kardashian is aware of Mad Men star Jon Hamm‘s not-so-nice comments about her. What does she have to say about it? Plenty.
Hey, Jon Hamm: Kim Kardashian knows you don’t like her — and the feeling is mutual. The reality star-turned-actress took to Twitter to express her disdain over the Mad Men star’s comments.
“I just heard about the comment Jon Hamm made about me in an interview,” the 31-year-old tweeted on Monday, referring to Hamm’s ELLE U.K. interview where he slammed her and fellow reality socialite Paris Hilton.
“Whether it’s Paris Hilton or Kim Kardashian or whoever, stupidity is certainly celebrated,” he said. “Being a f*****g idiot is a valuable commodity in this culture because you’re rewarded significantly.”
She wasn’t done with her response.
“I respect Jon and I am a firm believer that everyone is entitled to their own opinion and that not everyone takes the same path in life,” she added. “We’re all working hard and we all have to respect one another. Calling someone who runs their own businesses, is a part of a successful TV show, produces, writes, designs and creates, ‘stupid,’ is, in my opinion, careless.”
Kardashian hasn’t really responded to her haters before — and there have been plenty of them, including the whole Boycott Kim movement, Michael Buble and Jonah Hill, to name a few. Hill even named-checked Hamm’s AMC show when he talked about his love/hate relationship with the K family.
“The truth of it is, I have friends who work in TV and the Kardashians get higher ratings than their TV shows. Shows that people actually work hard on — writing and creating and trying to tell their stories. The fact that the Kardashians could be more popular than a show like Mad Men is disgusting,” he told The Huffington Post.
Is this the sign of a feistier Kim Kardashian to come? It looks like it!
