Cocktail recipes for all of your spring celebrations

Spring brings with it fresh flowers, budding trees and celebrations like Easter and Mother’s Day. Whether your celebration includes a bunny, your mom or simply the chance to sit outdoors again, a festive cocktail is essential. Try these cocktail recipes for your next spring celebration.

Pomosa recipe

Sometimes a typical mimosa just won’t do. If it’s Mother’s Day, you deserve something with a little jazz and if it’s a massive family gathering, you’ll need something a lot stronger. Either way, this pomegranate infused mimosa recipe will do the trick.

Serves 1

Ingredients:

  • 2 ounces PAMA liqueur
  • 2 ounces Champagne
  • 1/4 ounce orange liqueur
  • 2 ounces fresh orange juice
  • Frozen pomegranate seeds

Directions:

  1. Combine all ingredients except Champagne and pomegranate seeds in a shaker. Add ice and shake vigorously.
  2. Strain into a chilled flute and top with Champagne. Add frozen seeds to the drink.

Mint tulip recipe

Tulips are to spring what whiskey is to the classic mint julep. Why not combine the two for a drink that is not only festive but also delicious. This refreshing blend of mint with the added boost of pomegranate flavor will give you the taste of spring any time of the year. A traditional mint julep recipe is made with whiskey but we think vodka has a more spring-like vibe. However, if you are a traditionalist, stick with the whiskey.

Serves 1

Ingredients:

  • 1/4 cup fresh mint leaves
  • 2-1/2 ounces vodka or whiskey
  • 1 teaspoon sugar
  • 2 teaspoons water
  • 1 ounce PAMA pomegranate liqueur

Directions:

  1. Put fresh mint, sugar and water in a glass and muddle using a pestle. For a more intense mint flavor, put ingredients into a food processor and blender and process until combined.
  2. Top mint mixture with ice, add vodka or whiskey and PAMA liqueur. Garnish with a few leaves of fresh mint and serve.

Watermelon and berry ice:

  • 4 cups fresh watermelon
