Snooki is under fire from PETA for dyeing her dog’s fur to match her outfit. Is she going to spray tan her baby, too?
Snooki and JWoww of The Jersey Shore have way too much time on their hands. The pair was spotted in the Garden State yesterday after a trip to the doggie salon for their spin-off show — and their pups had gone from white to wild.

JWoww was walking a lovely ballerina, complete with pink “toe shoes” and a fluffy pink tail of a tutu. Snooki’s pup was an all-over blue-ish purple, perfectly coordinating with her outfit.

The dogs, seen here pre-dye job, seemed perfectly happy. The same cannot be said of PETA. The animal welfare organization blasted the reality stars for endangering the health of their pets.
“Dyeing a companion animal’s fur causes the animal stress and can lead to complications or allergic reactions that endanger the animal’s health,” a PETA rep said. “Our dogs and cats love us regardless of how we look; we should extend the same kindness to them.”

Interestingly it was just last month that Snooki was on PETA’s good side after ceasing sales of mink eyelashes. A rep for the reality star said that after having “investigated and dealt with the issue. SnookiShop, SnookiSlippers and BuyHappyFeet will no longer be selling the mink lashes.”
