Family tragedy: Usher “torn up” by stepson’s accident

Usher‘s young stepson, Kyle Glover, was severely injured in a Jet Ski accident and has not had brain activity since. Who, what and where? Read on.

The investigation is ongoing and charges are pending in relation to the Jet Ski accident that left Usher‘s stepson, Kyle Glover, critically injured.

The 11-year-old Kyle (son of Usher’s ex-wife, Tameka, and her former partner) was unresponsive at the scene when rescued on Lake Lanier in Atlanta, Georgia, this Saturday. He was struck in the head by a passing Jet Ski while riding in an inner tube.

Yes, you read that right.

The youth and a 15-year-old female friend (also injured in the incident) were both hastily taken to Egleston Hospital. Glover has had no brain activity since admission.

Usher is reportedly very distraught by the tragic accident. “He grew close to Kyle, and of course that has nothing to do with the situation with Tameka,” a source told Us Weekly. “He loved Kyle. This is a terrible, awful tragedy. Usher is torn up.”

The singer even chartered a plane for Tameka to be immediately taken to her son’s side.

So did the authorities find the driver of the watercraft?

Why yes, they did. Jeffrey S. Hubbard operated the Jet Ski and was apprehended, charges are pending. Hubbard coincidentally happened to be Usher’s close family friend.

Our best wishes to little Kyle Glover and his loved ones. Stay tuned for updates.
