If Michelle Williams is “totally” up for a Dawson’s Creek reunion, James Van Der Beek is game and even Katie Holmes sounds interested — what the heck are we waiting for?
The time for a Dawson’s Creek reunion has arrived! James Van Der Beek, Katie Holmes and now Michelle Williams have all expressed interest in reuniting the gang, so let’s get the ball rolling! It’s not like we want to wait for our lives to be over…
Joining the Dawson’s Creek reunion bandwagon, Michelle Williams told Vulture on Sunday she’s “totally” up for the idea, and is just waiting for James Van Der Beek to make the first move.
Speaking of the show’s namesake, the new girlfriend of Jason Segel said with a laugh, “He has my e-mail! He has my home phone, and my cell phone, so we talk. He could totally ask!”
Not only is Michelle Williams willing to talk a walk down memory line with deceased character Jen Lindley (she was so young!), she’s gunning for Dawson’s Creek reunion to give her and bestie Busy Philipps a chance to hang out.
Michelle Williams continued, “I’ve always said, I’m totally up for reunion tours, reunion shows, so we can do that. I’ve always wanted, my best friend [Busy Philipps] is on Cougar Town, and we’ve always talked about wanting to go be on that show, too. It’s just timing, because of L.A. and New York, and it hasn’t happened.”
For his part, James Van Der Beek said previously, “I mean, if somebody came up with a brilliant idea how to do it, why not? I always love that Michelle is like, ‘I definitely wanna do it! I’m in!’ which is so easy for her to say because her character is dead. I always smile when I see that.”
Katie Holmes, forever Joey Potter to fans, commented of a possible reunion last November, “It would be fun. I had so much fun working on that show and I loved everyone so much and I think about it with such fond memories.”
