Momma’s boy: Justin Bieber is part of the Class of 2012!

Do you know someone who is part of the graduating class of 2012? Let them know that they have a famous classmate alongside them — Justin Bieber!

Sure, Justin Bieber is busy, just like any other teenage pop sensation. But one thing he can cross off his never-ending to-do list is graduating high school and earning his diploma.

“I just finished high school,” he happily shared during an interview with the U.K.’s Daily Telegraph. “I passed my test — I’m free!”

He added, “It was hard doing school and work every day.” We’ll give him this excuse, since he justified it by balancing a full-fledged music career while keeping up with his studies.

And of course, Bieber was driven to finish his high school career with the help of his mother. “That was something my mom really wanted me to do, so I had to do it for her,” he noted. “I mean, this kind of lifestyle has given me a different perspective on life.”

But doing so wasn’t exactly easy — not the way that singing, dancing and performing come so naturally to him.

“I’ve been able to travel the world. At school, usually you have to do a lot of writing and reading,” explained Bieber. “I’m really not into that stuff. I like to be out there.”

Nevertheless, Bieber is elated to have achieved the milestone and is knee-deep in his next venture — his new fragrance, Someday. It’s a constant reminder to not take his educational opportunities for granted.

“I grew up without a lot of money,” he reflected. “There are kids around the world who don’t have the chance to go to school. I want to be able to help them, you know?”

And he’s doing so — $2 from every 100ml bottle sold in Australia goes to the Make-a-Wish Foundation, and the remaining net profits will benefit one of the 20 international charities that the singer supports. The scent’s distributor, Escentials Brands, has already donated $50,000 to the organization.

“I’m so blessed to be in this position,” said the singer. “With everything I do, I try to give back. I love the fact young people can help other young people.”
