Both Kate Hudson and Sarah Jessica Parker do have experience singing. Lindsay Lohan has the Glee cast and crew complaining >>
Some speculate the Glee move to incorporate major celebrities is a ratings ploy. Gwyneth Paltrow starred in season two of Glee to a major ratings boost. Lindsay Lohan is set to make her Glee debut tomorrow night — although her mom, Dina Lohan, was not happy about her daughter’s portrayal in season two. Forbes thinks Sarah Jessica Parker and Kate Hudson’s guest roles on Glee have more to do with their lagging careers than Glee‘s ratings. “Movie stars aren’t selling tickets like they used to, so they need help from Glee… Hudson and SJP are stars, certainly. But they’ve each had difficulty at the box office… So both actresses will find new audiences on Glee.”
For season four of Glee, its time-slot has changed from Tuesdays to Thursdays on Fox with The X-Factor taking over Glee‘s original Tuesday time.
No word yet from Kate Hudson or Sarah Jessica Parker’s reps on their upcoming Glee roles.
