She did it! After years of lobbying, Taylor Swift has finally released a music video that makes awkward dancing look amazing. We are filled with joy today!

Taylor Swift fans received quite a treat on Monday during the Yahoo! livestream, when the 24-year-old singer revealed that she is releasing a brand new album and even showed off a new single called “Shake It Off” avec music video. Boom, boom and boom.

The new album will be titled 1989 (the year Taylor was born) and was inspired by the late ’80s. Swift promises a brand new sound on the record and even stated that it’s her favourite album to date. Considering Taylor’s immeasurable popularity and the catchiness of “Shake It Off” — which we still can’t get out of our heads — this new record is going to be a major hit. It’s slated for release on Oct. 27 and is already available for pre-order.

Taylor Swift worries about being vain and alone >>

Now, onto the meat… Swift’s new tune “Shake It Off” is mighty addictive, you guys. This is trouble. We listened to it 36 times already. The best part of it all is the music video though, which features a lot of dancing and a lot of awkward T. Swift dancing. It’s the most magnificent thing our eyeballs have seen all month. We don’t know how she does it, but Taylor makes awful lack of coordination look cool. We’re borrowing some of these moves. Don’t judge us.

Who doesn’t want to dance with a boom box?

We think Taylor Swift may secretly be a middle-aged woman >>

All in all, we must say this was a successful music video and we would like to congratulate Taylor Swift on creating something hilariously awesome. We can’t wait to hear the rest of 1989. Well done!
