The film follows Ben (John Lithgow) and his partner George (Alfred Molina), who finally tie the knot after four decades together but are then separated when the latter loses his job and the couple is forced to temporarily live apart, since they can no longer afford their apartment. Luckily we’re not alone in this opinion. The film hit theatres on Friday and currently holds a rating of 96 per cent on Rotten Tomatoes. The critics praised the approach of the film and the performances of Lithgow and Molina, claiming it is their best work to date. If that’s not enough to make you run to the cinema, then we’re worried about your sanity.
