How does a pirate living in the Ice Age deal with the cold? They sing, apparently — especially if a band of prehistoric animals happens aboard their ship like they do in Ice Age: Continental Drift.
Manny, Sid and Diego are back in frozen waters again. These three loveable prehistoric animals are the heroes of the lucrative Ice Age series, and this time for the fourth installment Ice Age: Continental Drift, the plot promises an adventure with those angry seafolk we like to call pirates. Hooray!
Why are we so happy? Because pirates are like candy to kids. Little ones go hog wild for the swashbuckling nonsense of pirates, and who better to experience it than our favorite Ice Age characters?
So, how did this all happen that Manny, Sid and Diego come upon a band of pirates? Remember Scrat, the saber-toothed squirrel who is on a constant quest to maintain control of his acorn? Yep, he’s the one. When his obsession to grab this unruly nut gets a little out of hand, the fate of the world starts to shift and now our friends are sent on an adventure that has them fighting pirates to make it out alive.
