SheKnows brings you an exclusive look at a scene from the new indie film Hello I Must Be Going, starring Blythe Danner and Melanie Lynskey.
Amy just got divorced. So, she decided to move back in with her mom. This downtrodden soul-searcher soon discovers it might be easier to go back and live with her ex-husband. Before she decides to do something she’ll regret, she meets a guy who finally connects with her in the new indie film Hello I Must Be Going.
Only problem is, this dream guy is 19 years old. Talk about a reverse on The Graduate. Amy, played by Melanie Lynskey of Win Win, Up in the Air and Two and a Half Men fame, must decide if this is the relationship of her dreams or just one that works for her right now.

SheKnows brings you this exclusive clip from the film where Amy’s mother, played by Blythe Danner, tells her daughter she’s got to clean herself up if she’s ever going to get on with her life. Not such an easy thing for a mom to say.

The clip shows mom confronting her daughter in the kitchen. Mom wants to invite company over for the summer but doesn’t want her daughter moping around the house in a dirty T-shirt. Sounds like high school all over again?
The mother-daughter dynamic in this quirky comedy proves moving back in with the folks is almost never a good idea, no matter how depressed you get.
Hello I Must Be Going premiered at the 2012 Sundance Film Festival as an opening night film and was nominated for the Grand Jury Prize.
Hello I Must Be Going debuts in theaters Sep. 7.
