Kristen Stewart frenzied over career, “double standard

As Robert Pattinson makes the rounds for his upcoming flick, Cosmopolis, Kristen Stewart is apparently already freaking out over how her “indiscretion will impact her career (she’s only 22!). And she’s furious about how the affair has played out in the media, claiming Rupert Sanders has had it comparatively “easy.”

After breaking Rob’s heart, sources say Kristen Stewart is blowing up his phone, proclaiming that he’s “the one!”

Actress Kristen Stewart is reportedly “furious” that she’s taking all the heat for the affair with married director Rupert Sanders. And, the 20-something already fears this indiscretion will cost her gigs over the long term.

“We’re told Kristen fears her career may be irreparably damaged — something she believes she doesn’t deserve as a 22-year-old single woman who made a stupid mistake,” TMZ said, by way of sources “directly connected to Kristen.”

To the world, Stewart has apologized for her “stupid mistake,” but reportedly behind closed doors she’s ticked at Rupert. It does take two to tango, right?

Wait, wait … Kristen Stewart’s career isn’t over just yet > >

“Our sources tell us Kristen can’t believe the public isn’t painting Rupert Sanders as the bad guy,” the gossip site said Thursday. “She’s grousing that he’s 19 years her senior and was ‘in a position of power over her’ — being a director of a movie she had just shot and presumably someone she was going to work with again.”

It was recently reported that Kristen was being dropped from a sequel to Snow White and the Huntsman, something Universal is “denying” as of Thursday, according to Reuters.

It would, however, make sense that Kristen be dropped from the flick if Rupert Sanders is returning as director of the follow-up flick.

After all, how awkward would that be? It was already bad enough when news broke that Rupert’s wife, Liberty Ross, was also Kristen’s co-star in Snow White. In fact, they used to be all smiles in photo opps before the news broke.

The fact that Rupert has, in Kristen’s eyes, had it comparatively easy in the media is all the more perplexing to her, according to TMZ’s “sources,” as he is married — and has two young kids.

“Although she knows she shouldn’t have done it because she was in a committed relationship with Robert Pattinson, she feels Rupert is in a totally different and far more culpable situation,” the gossip site notes.

While Kristen may feel like the world’s out to get her, she has at least one very vocal supporter in her corner — her Panic Room co-star (and fellow former child actor) Jodie Foster.
