Is Rihanna giving Robert Pattinson textual healing?

R-Patz may need to watch his back for Chris Brown, now that one of Rihanna‘s friends spilled the beans that the singer has been sending the broken-hearted Twilight actor “sexy, funny texts” to cheer him up over his cheating ex-GF, Kristen Stewart.

The Buzz – Rihanna New Boy Toys: Rob Kardashian and Robert Pattinson
First she goes on a date with Rob Kardashian, then she fetches her phone to send a flirty text to Robert Pattinson… so which one does she want?!

Rihanna and Robert Pattinson have apparently engaged in sexting, following ex Kristen Stewart’s very real fling with married director Rupert Sanders.

And no one seemed more surprised by the flirty, sexy texts than the Twilight actor himself.

“At first, Rob thought someone Punk’d him,” RiRi’s friend, by way of Hollywood Life, told OK Magazine. “Eventually Rihanna convinced him she was for real, but Rob has been resisting her.”

Apparently, Rihanna got the star’s phone number from a mutual friend, and began sending the texts “to cheer him up.”

If the friend is legit, RiRi has had a thing for Rob for some time.

“They’ve met several times at award bashes over the years,” source allegedly told OK. “RiRi thinks he’s very cute, but nothing ever came of it because he was attached to Kristen — and it’s not her style to steal someone else’s man.”

All signs seem to point toward Kristen and Rob no longer being attached; in fact, OK also reported that moving trucks were seen outside of the home they shared, and R-Patz himself recently joked with Jimmy Kimmel that he was “homeless” post break-up.

It’s been widely reported that Kristen wants to get back together, but R-Patz is having none of it.

In fact, Pattinson’s friends have urged him to “start enjoying life again.”

Sounds like Rihanna (minus the grip of a volatile Chris Brown) is helping him do just that.
