Two and a Half Men’s Angus: No clue about Miley “hook-up

A week after rumors started swirling that Miley Cyrus was to appear on Two and a Half Men as TV son Jake’s (Angus T. Jones) love interest, CBS is confirming as much — and a little bit more. But would it have hurt them to let Angus know?

No one seems to be more in the dark about Miley Cyrus guesting on Two and a Half Men than the show’s young star, Angus T. Jones, who told E! Monday that he’s on a “need-to-know basis” about the starlet’s role on the CBS comedy.

“Honestly, they don’t tell me anything about what the future shows are going to be,” Jones told the outlet while promoting nonprofit arts/social issues group, The Creative Coalition, at the GOP Convention. “But if that’s what’s going to happen it will be cool. I’ve met her a few times before and it would be fun to work with her.”

At least by way of CBS, it appears that last week’s rumors are true — Cyrus is slated to make like Jake Harper’s girl.

Via a press release issued by the network, Cyrus “will play Missi, an old family friend of Walden’s (Ashton Kutcher) who comes to visit for a week and develops a relationship with Jake (Jones) when he comes home from the Army.”

MTV is also reporting that the star, who shed and colored her locks seemingly just in time for the role, will be “sexy” and “rife with comedy.”

Just don’t expect 18-year-old Angus to spill any more beans about the singer, who CBS says will appear on two episodes during the show’s 10th season this fall. Because, apparently, he doesn’t have any beans to spill.

“Whatever it’s going to be, it’s going to be interesting,” he said.
