Is Kate Middleton preggo?

Cue the royal gossip hounds! Word on the street is that Kate Middleton is pregnant. Is it true? We look to a few telling cues to find out.

Prince William and Kate Middleton are visiting Singapore on behalf of Queen Elizabeth as part of the Diamond Jubilee tour, but for once what Kate is wearing isn’t what’s getting all the press — rather, what might be going on under those fabulous designer dresses.

The normally stick-thin Duchess Catherine has seemed noticeably fuller in the face and arms of late — a flattering look to be sure, but one that is out of sorts with the fashion model slim physique she has honed since her engagement to Prince William.

Adding fuel to the fires of speculation, Kate was seen eschewing wine for water at a state dinner with Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong. She offered a toast with her water glass, despite a full wine glass placed directly in front of her.

“Things like this, people do look at them and wonder if they are signs,” Victoria Murphy, royal correspondent for The Mirror, told ABC News. “People are whispering and going on, ‘Is she pregnant? Is she pregnant?'”

If the rumor is true, it would be welcome news to the couple, who wed in April 2011. In May, Prince William told Katie Couric, “I’m just very keen to have a family and both Catherine and I, you know, are looking forward to having a family in the future.”

During a visit with schoolchildren just outside of Singapore, when Wills was asked by a young boy exactly how many babies he and Kate want, he answered, “Two!”

Royal twins maybe?
