“There’s a lot of different storylines,” Winter told SheKnows Sunday night on the Emmys red carpet.”She experiments with a lot of different things to try and fit in which I don’t think she needs to do.”
Alex is known on the show for her dry wit and superior intelligence — quite the foil to her older sister Haley Dunphy’s (Sarah Hyland) ditziness. Winter added that she doesn’t want to see Alex change, but it does translate into a lot of fun wardrobes for her character.
