Carrie Underwood plucks a young boy from the audience at a Louisville, Kentucky, concert to make his dream come true and give him his first kiss.
Who was your first kiss? For most of us, it might have been the kid down the street or the cute boy from homeroom, but for 12-year-old Chase, he can say it was none other than Carrie Underwood. The American IdolSeason 4 winner was performing in Louisville, Ky., last night when she called the young boy to the stage after seeing his sign in the audience.
The sign the boy was waving asked, “Carrie, be my first kiss?” The country singer happily obliged by bringing the fan to the stage and asking him, “Now how are we going do this?” He eagerly replied, “Lip to lip.”
The Grammy Award-winning singer then grabbed his right hand and instructed him to “close your eyes,” as she went in for a quick peck on the lips. Chase was beet red from the pucker with his crush, but the audience cheered after his dream was realized.
Before the sweet encounter, Underwood revealed that she was 14 years old when she had her first kiss. She also warned the youngster that her husband, Mike Fisher, was in the building. She said, “He might be looking for you later.” Somehow, we doubt Fisher was bothered by the kiss since he was the one who went home with Underwood that night.
Later, Underwood took to Twitter to praise the preteen and post the video of the exchange, tweeting, “Thanks, Chase, for the kiss, and thanks Louisville for rocking so hard tonight! We had fun! #liptolip.” As for Chase, he will get to make an appearance on The Today Show on Thursday to talk about his famous first kiss.
Underwood has been married Fisher, an NHL player, since 2010. The singer is currently on tour through Dec. 2012, supporting her fourth album, Blown Away.
