The young reality star seems to still be on a troubled path, despite protests from her lawyer that she was not involved in the car accident.
Bobbi Kristina Brown can’t seem to stay out of the news these days. If the press isn’t nosing around rumors that she’s engaged to her “brother” or her rocky relationship with her dad, singer Bobby Brown, then she is finding trouble all on her own. According to TMZ, Bobbi Kristina and her boyfriend, Nick Gordon, were reportedly in a major auto accident early Monday morning in Alpharetta, a suburb just outside of Atlanta, Georgia.
No one has been able to confirm that Nick and Bobbi Kristina were in the car, but the Camaro that is registered to him is totaled, as confirmed by photos posted on TMZ. The discovery of the wrecked car was purely accidental, as the Alpharetta police happened upon the vehicle after responding to a noise complaint at 4:14 a.m. in the same apartment complex where the car was parked.
The cops knocked on the door of the car owner’s apartment, where Gordon reportedly lives, but no one responded. The police department took photos of the vehicle as evidence to help determine whether any further investigation was needed, but they have not received any reports from the vehicle’s owner about the accident.
While there is a lot to this story that still needs to be confirmed, the Alpharetta police have issued a strong statement in reply to TMZ‘s report. According to Greg Gordon, who is Executive Officer/Public Information Officer for the Alpharetta Department of Public Safety (and no relation to Nick Gordon),”The Alpharetta Department of Public Safety does NOT confirm the details involved in an online story regarding a recent car crash in our city. Some of those details in that particular story came from third parties that we are unaware of.”
There has been no public statement from Bobbi Kristina, but her attorney told CNN that she “wasn’t in [a] car wreck,” even though sources saw the couple riding in the vehicle late Sunday night.
