Kate Upton and her, ahem, assets grace the cover of Cosmopolitan for the mag’s November issue. Is she really a country girl at heart?

Kate Upton goes back to her country roots in the new issue of Cosmopolitan. The 20-year-old blonde bombshell graces both the cover of the magazine and an inside spread.

Her photoshoot with the women’s mag features the buxom blonde carousing on a Warwick, New York farm in a bralette from Cosmopolitan’s new collection for JC Penney along with shorts by Rag & Bone.

So, does the model like getting down on the farm?

“I’m a little bit of a mix — a girlie girl and a tomboy. When I’m in a city, I’m girlie. But when I’m around a barn, I turn into a tomboy,” she told Cosmo.

In fact, she says she’s not one of those prissy high-maintenance models.

“To me, what’s sexy is when you look like you’re having a good time. That, and when you look effortless and have messy hair,” she added.

Upton isn’t just saying that, either: The Florida native grew up in the country surrounded by horses.

“I’m actually an equestrian, and I showed in the American Paint Horse Association and competed for top 20 in the nation. So, I have my own horse and two ponies,” she told GQ earlier this year. “I grew up around horses, and that really is my passion.”

Also her passion? Posing in small bikinis.
