Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson are rumored to be back together, and it looks like they have a cupid to help them with that. Well, sort of. RadarOnline is reporting that Stewart’s mom, script supervisor Jules Stewart (who is herself going through a divorce right now), is pushing the two back together.
“It ripped her heart in two when she saw those pictures of Kristen in a compromising situation with Rupert [Sanders] — and she couldn’t believe what her daughter had done,” said the website. “As far as Jules was concerned, Kristen’s relationship with Robert was a match made in heaven, and she adored him like he was her own son. At first, she struggled to understand why Kristen wanted to cheat on him.”
Jules Stewart has reportedly been speaking with Pattinson, making sure he knows he can trust her daughter again. Jules is doing this because she forgives her daughter and knows it was a momentary indiscretion.
“Kristen’s young, and Jules knows mistakes will happen — so she supported her daughter’s efforts to win Robert back,” said RadarOnline.
But it may not be that easy. A source told RadarOnline that if the couple is back together, they will have some “serious trust issues” and many other things to work through.
“And there are moments when he continually asks her questions about the affair — so it’s all still very tense — they have some really serious trust issues. But they were brought together again by a great friendship, so there could be hope,” the source said. “Robert thought Kristen was the girl he was going to marry.”
But the couple has never been ordinary, and that may help them through this. If they stay together, Pattinson will have to work on his trust issues.
“The love story between Robert and Kristen is still a bit of a conundrum; it’s a weird relationship,” the source said. “Despite claims that all is rosy — he’s still not completely convinced that giving their relationship another chance is the right thing to do.”
