Hulk Hogan wasn’t kidding when he said he’d pursue legal action over a leaked sex tape. The wrestler filed a lawsuit against his former best friend on Monday.
Hulk Hogan is taking this sex tape debacle into his own hands by suing his ex-best friend, ex-lover and Gawker Media! But Bubba’s fighting back by calling Hogan…
Hulk Hogan and best buddy Bubba the Love Sponge used to share a lot of things back when they were pals, including sexy time with Bubba’s wife Heather Clem. Now, all they’ll be sharing is a courtroom: The Hulkster has filed a $15,000 lawsuit against Bubba and Clem over a leaked sex tape.

“I’m hopeful today [the lawsuits] send the message very clearly to any other entities out there that may be considering posting all or part of this video, or for that matter any other material that would violate my client’s rights, if you do so we have plenty of room on the front page of this complaint to add your name,” Hogan’s attorney, David Houston, said in Tampa, Florida, Monday afternoon as the stoic wrestler looked on.
The lawsuits came after two whirlwind weeks for the 59-year-old wrestler. First, Gawker posted a short NSFW clip of Hogan — real name Terry Bollea — having sex with Heather. The whole video has never been published, though people who have watched it told Hogan of a shocking ending.

“Hey Heather, here’s our retirement if we ever need it,” Bubba allegedly says in the video, meaning the radio shock jock set up the tape on his best friend.
Whether or not Bubba and Clem released the tape is another story. An unnamed source told RadarOnline that a disgruntled former employee leaked it.
“Even though Bubba knew how much the Hulk sex tape would be worth, he didn’t stab his friend in the back and he’s not the one who released it,” the source told the site. “It’s a former employee of Bubba’s who was outraged when he left Sirius to go back to terrestrial radio. He wanted payback.”

Bubba and his lawyers are still maintaining that he had nothing to do with the release. “Bubba’s the victim here,” his friend told the Tampa Bay Times.
Hogan is also suing Gawker Media for leaking the tape. The case — filed in federal court — is seeking $100 million in damages.
