The wedding was long-rumored to have happened last summer, but everyone got it wrong. The Jessica Biel/Justin Timberlake wedding will officially happen this weekend at a beachside resort in Italy.
The media has been trying to predict the weekend for the nuptials of Justin Timberlake and Jessica Biel all summer long. They should have waited until the fall because the official weekend is here. Friends and family members of Timberlake and Biel have been flown to Puglia, Italy to witness the wedding of the powerhouse couple.
According to US Weekly, the festivities began on Wednesday night at Cala Masciola beach along the Adriatic Sea where guests like Timberlake’s SNL “D**k in a Box” co-star, Andy Samberg, and Biel’s 7th Heaven TV sister, Beverley Mitchell, were spotted bundling up in the chilly fall air. The guests enjoyed dinner and cocktails on the beach while music played in the background.
At 9:30 p.m. the group was treated to a fireworks display, and then they all returned to the resort where the wedding is rumored to take place. Approximately 50 invited family members and friends were in attendance at the pre-wedding bash, and other notable celebrity sightings included former N’Sync music manager Johnny Wright and rapper Timbaland.
This has been a long journey for the duo since their relationship began in 2007 and weathered a few breakups before their engagement was officially announced earlier this year. The singer-turned-actor dated several notable people, including Britney Spears and Cameron Diaz, while the Total Recall actress dated New York Yankee Derek Jeter and Captain America star Chris Evans. This will be the first wedding for both of them.
Their final reunion led to a quick engagement, but Timberlake proved that his fiancée clearly was the one in a Vanity Fair interview. He said, “She is the single-handedly most significant person in my life. In my 30 years, she is the most special person, okay?”
Biel will next be seen in the highly anticipated drama Hitchcock, which debuts Nov. 23, while Timberlake has the Coen Brothers’ film, Inside Llewyn Davis, coming to the big screen in February 2013.
