No-brainer: The CW wants even more Arrow

Want to see more Stephen Amell in green leather? Yes please! The CW has ordered more episodes of the freshman series Arrow. After only two airings, they believe it has what it takes for the long haul.

The CW has a breakout hit with the superhero drama Arrow. Its premiere ratings were beyond expectations with over 4 million viewers. Therefore, who’s shocked that Arrow’s received a full season pick-up?

CW president Mark Pedowitz revealed, “Our strategy of rolling out our new fall schedule later in the year really paid off for The CW on several levels, especially with Arrow. I’m proud of the quality of Arrow and I’m happy we’ll be able to share more of it with viewers.”

Now that they’ve gotten the green light, they can move full speed ahead. We can expect several faces from the Green Arrow comic to appear in coming episodes. Thus far, China White, Huntress, Deadshot, Deathstroke and The Royal Flush Gang have all been confirmed.

While at this year’s New York Comic Con, the network premiered an extended trailer that teased who and what’s to come.
