Anthony Hopkins and Helen Mirren bring the love of Alfred Hitchcock and Alma Reville to life on the big screen next month.
Fox Searchlight has released the final poster for its upcoming release, Hitchcock.
The film brings Anthony Hopkins and Helen Mirren to the center stage to examine the marriage and events that held together the skeleton of Hitchcock‘s classic, Psycho.
Alongside their anticipated roles, Hitchcock stars Scarlett Johansson and Jessica Biel (newly Jessica Timberlake) as Janet Leigh and Vera Miles, respectively.
Hopkins appears to have fully immersed himself in the mysterious ways of Hitchcock, including capturing his trademark silhouette and ghostly air.
As his voiceover states in the trailer, “All of us harbor dark recesses of violence and horror. I’m just a man hiding in the corner with a camera, watching.”
Hitchcock appears to be an eerie, provocative twisted insight into the dark world of one of the most influential filmmakers in history. Those who enjoy watching the classic TV series Alfred Hitchcock Presents may find even more reasons to get creeped out by Hitchcock’s deadpan (no pun intended) delivery when he introduces the stories that made the show a hit.
And with an all-star cast like this, we can’t wait for the film to slash its way into theaters Nov. 23.
