Chris Hemsworth, Josh Hutcherson, Adrianne Palicki and Isabel Lucas command this epic reconstruction of the 1984 Patrick Swayze classic, Red Dawn.
Everything was always safe on the American home front, until now: North Korea has invaded the States and it’s up to a small brigade of teens to fight back for everything dear.
According to the exclusive clip passed our way, “It’s not only about the guns and battling, there’s actually a great emotional story as well.” Hemsworth and Palicki appear to be growing a strong love for each other amidst the chaos. Not exactly a traditional first date, but hey, surprises are good.
Only a true “Lady Wolverine” could win over Hemsworth’s character, yet it appears Palicki has got just the right amount of guts and beauty to pull it off.
“It’s kind of cool to see these girls kicking some a**,” Hutcherson said in the clip. “Even in training they were as tough as the guys.”
Red Dawn has big action, big stars and big explosions, making it the perfect concoction for a holiday hit.
The film shoots into theaters Nov. 21.
