A celebrity attending an armed forces ball has become quite the rage the last few years with stars like Mila Kunis, Kristin Cavallari and Justin Timberlake. Most of the star attendees were asked out publicly via YouTube, but this date proposal with Kardashian was shockingly under the radar.
The reality star knew about the event months ago according to E! News, and she cleared her schedule to attend the festivities. Kardashian is currently in Miami shooting the next season of E!‘s Kourtney & Kim Take Miami.
Kardashian upheld her promise and didn’t disappoint her date as she came dressed in a tight-fitting red gown designed by Roland Mouret. The young Marine was decked out in his formal uniform, so they made quite a striking couple.
After the event, the Keeping Up With the Kardashians star tweeted to her followers, “Just left the Marine Corps Ball. Thanks to all of the Marines I had the opportunity to meet tonight! Thank you for all that you do!”
There’s no word on how Sgt. Gardner asked the 32-year-old to the ball, but he certainly looked like a happy man all evening.
