Daniel Craig is quaking in his James Bond bow tie. Although he’s signed on to be the highest-paid 007 ever, he fears a few sparkly vamps have the power to derail Skyfall‘s box office success.
Kristen Stewart is concerned that she may not have as much upcoming work as her co-stars.
Daniel Craig has had his arms around a bevy of Bond beauties, thanks to his highly applauded portrayal of 007, but Twilight‘s Kristen Stewart as a Bond girl? Craig’s gut instinct says, “No thanks.”
While appearing on Australia’s Kyle and Jackie O Show, Daniel Craig pondered, “Would she make a good Bond girl?” He then jabbed, “No, she’s in Twilight.”
The sometimes catty Craig went on to explain, “No, I’m being nasty. It’s only because the film [Skyfall] is coming out at the same time [as Breaking Dawn — Part 2 in Australia]. We’re in direct competition! I’m sure she’d make a great Bond girl.”

Kristen Stewart herself is nearly as wishy-washy about the possibility of joining the ranks of Bond girls. When asked about the possibility while on the red carpet in Los Angeles, she replied, “I’m not sure — I would love to read a few drafts of the script. I choose my roles really instinctually. I would really have to connect with the material.”
A Bond brush-off? Not quite.
“I don’t know, maybe. I’m not sure, I can’t — I am so noncommittal, right?” Stewart sputtered. “As long as I get to have a gun,” the Twilight star finally decided. “Yes, hell yeah!”

Whether K-Stew gets her Bond-girl gumption together or not, Daniel Craig’s going to become a very rich man thanks to those trademark martinis. The man seen here with beauties Naomie Harris and Berenice Marlohe has signed a $49.3 million deal to portray James Bond in two more flicks.
