That ’70s Show star arrested (again!)

Laurie Forman was always a bit of a loose canon. Six years after the final episode of That ’70s Show, Lisa Robin Kelly looks like she took life lessons from her character.

Actress Lisa Robin Kelly, best known for her work as Eric Forman’s promiscuous and trouble-making sister on That ’70s Show, has been arrested yet again, according to TMZ.

Kelly was taken from her home on suspicion of assault. A man, reported to be her husband, was also taken into custody. This isn’t the first time the two have had a domestic disturbance. Kelly was brought into custody in March — again, for domestic abuse — but was later released with no charges pressed.

Kelly also ran into trouble with the law back in 2010, when she was arrested for a DUI and sentenced to 12 months’ probation.

Kelly didn’t appear on That ’70s Show for its duration. After three seasons, her character, Laurie Forman, left for beauty school. Later, during the show’s fifth season, the actress tried to return but was replaced. According to a candid interview Kelly did with ABC News, personal tragedy and alcohol were to blame for her parting with the show.

“I had lost a baby,” she said. “As a result of that, I lost it. I lost everything, and I was abusing alcohol.”

During the interview, she also claimed that the previous domestic incident was misunderstood. Kelly was accused of assaulting her boyfriend, but she told others that he had assaulted her (as her mug shot would suggest).

Kelly began her career on an episode of Married… with Children. However, other than That ’70s Show, Kelly hasn’t done much acting of note. She appeared in a horror film, Amityville: Dollhouse, and in single episodes of a few shows. Since leaving That ’70s Show, she’s acted only twice, both times in short films. She appeared as Marilyn in The Food Chain: A Hollywood Scarytale and as Angel in SUX2BME.

What’s next for Kelly is still undetermined. However, in her interview with ABC, the 42-year-old said she’d like to pursue acting again.
