Nikki Sixx and Courtney Bingham are engaged! Rumor has it the Motley Crue bassist went all out for his bride-to-be’s engagement ring, selecting a whopping 6-carat stone.
Nikki Sixx and Courtney Bingham are engaged to be married, after the Motley Crue singer proposed with a massive diamond ring over the weekend!
Breaking news of their plans to marry personally, Nikki Sixx wrote on his Facebook page, “When Courtney and I were in St Bart’s I popped the question and she said YES.”
The 53-year-old continued, “We would like to thank everybody who has been tweeting and posting online us congratulations….Both of us and our families are beyond happy.”
Courtney Bingham, a 27-year-old model, wrote on her Twitter account, “I’m so excited to share with you that @NikkiSixx and I are engaged!!!!!!!! Thank you for all the kind wishes!!! xoxo.”
Although the lovebirds, seen here smooching at the Third Annual Veuve Clicquot Polo Classic in October, broke the engagement news themselves, it was TMZ who dug up the dirt on the diamond ring.

The gossip site reports, “The average size of a diamond engagement ring is reportedly 1.18 carats — but Nikki Sixx just DESTROYED the average … by dropping a SIX CARAT stone on his fiancee.”
Rumor has it Nikki Sixx’s proposal included a candle-lit stroll on the beach and dinner in a tent littered with rose petals leading up to the big question.
The Motley Crew bassist was previously married to Playboy Playmate Brandi Brandt from May 1989 to November 1996, with whom he shares three children. He also has a daughter with actress and Playboy Playmate Donna D’Errico, whom he was married to from December 1996 to June 2007. He was also previously romantically involved with actress Denise Richards — who has also posed for Playboy!
