Frankie Muniz has dropped a health-news bomb on his Twitter followers. In less than 140 characters, the actor reveals he has been in and out of the hospital after suffering a “mini-stroke.”

Word of Frankie Muniz’s “mini-stroke” comes straight from the actor-turned-musician, who revealed his recent health struggles on Twitter Wednesday.
“I was in the hospital last Friday,” Frankie Muniz wrote, seemingly out of the blue. “I suffered a ‘Mini Stroke,’ which was not fun at all.”
Gee, Frankie, you think? How scary!
Despite freaking out fans with the news, the actor doesn’t seem to have lost his sense of humor. The 26-year-old added, “Have to start taking care of my body! Getting old!”

According to TMZ, Muniz was taken to an Arizona emergency room after friends noticed he was having trouble speaking.
People reports a “mini-stroke,” as the former Malcolm in the Middle actor described his diagnosis, is a term commonly used to describe a transient ischemic attack, or TIA, when blood temporarily stops reaching the brain, causing stroke-like symptoms for one to 24 hours.
Here’s hoping that Frankie Muniz is very serious about taking care of himself starting today — doctors believe a TIA can be a warning sign for a possible full stroke in the future without preventative measures.

Well-wishes for the actor, who is now the drummer for Kingsfoil, have begun to pour in. Perez Hilton tweeted to him Wednesday, “Sending you good vibes!”
Frankie Muniz, apparently a bit of a workaholic, replied, “Thanks Perez! Trying to learn how to relax! I never like to stop moving or working!”
