The Screen Actors Guild has spoken. It has unveiled the nominees for its 2013 ceremony. In film, Lincoln and Silver Linings Playbook dominate, while TV’s all about Modern Family and Homeland.
The nominees for the 19th annual Screen Actors Guild Awards were announced on Wednesday morning. Unlike the Critics’ Choice Movie Awards, Lincoln wasn’t the sole bread winner. It shares that honor with the David O. Russell dramedy, Silver Linings Playbook.
Lincoln makes history with Critics’ Choice nominations >>
Lincoln and Playbook received four acting nominations, in the same categories. They’re both up for Best Ensemble, Best Actor, Best Actress, and Best Supporting Actor. But don’t worry, there’s plenty of stiff competition to take them down.
Les Miserables is making itself known with three acting nominations and one for stunts. The cast received a Best Ensemble nod, while stars Hugh Jackman and Anne Hathaway scored individuals for Best Actor and Supporting Actress.
