As the dreary days of winter set in, your style may be in need of some fresh inspiration. Luckily, a new crop of shows are set to provide some clever outfit ideas. From a new dating competition, to reality shows following the lives of the rich and stylish, to the return of the girl who captured our hearts at the first sight of her Manolos, there are a variety of new shows that will please every trendsetter’s taste.
The Carrie Diaries
Get ready to uncover how the style maven got her start. AnnaSophia Robb is stepping into the iconic Manolos of Carrie Bradshaw. Bradshaw is best known for her shoe closet, but her fans will be dying to know what she wore in high school before she could afford those Jimmy Choos. We’re talking about the adult who wears high-heeled slippers to the all-girls sleepover in The Sex and the City Movie, so it’s hard to imagine her rocking the high school hallways in anything but sky-high stilettos. Seeing Robb’s portrayal as Bradshaw in her adolescence is sure to be quite a fashionable surprise. The Carrie Diaries premiers on The CW Jan. 14.

Chasing the Saturdays
The English/Irish girl group that swept the British airwaves by storm is testing U.S. waters this January as a new addition to the E! Sunday night lineup. They’ve been together since 2007, have recorded four albums and went on three UK tours, but now the cameras will follow their next big move as they try to win over America’s heart. Something tells me it may not be a tough feat. If they’re anything like their predecessors, The Spice Girls, America will go crazy for a new set of British pop stars to emulate. Plus, being a reality show, we get a glimpse inside the pop star’s off-duty wardrobe. We need a new girl band to “spice up our lives,” and this show will be something every fashionista will want to keep an eye on. Chasing the Saturdays will premier Jan. 20 on E!

Vanderpump Rules
If you’ve watched Lisa Vanderpump on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, you know her keen sense of sophisticated style. She knows how to dress up in her signature pink satin cocktail frocks, but the real elegance is seen in her everyday wardrobe. She can pull off a pair of jeans and a simple while button-down shirt better than anyone. This new series will follow her as she balances owning her famous Los Angeles restaurant, Sur, while playing “mum” to her young and beautiful staff. More of Lisa’s style, plus introducing some new faces, guarantees we’ll get the full spectrum of sleek L.A. styling — and of course a few cat fights thrown in for good measure.
