Hugh Grant: Jon Stewart “correct to give me kicking

After Jon Stewart shared with Stephen Colbert that he felt Hugh Grant was his least favorite guest, Grant responds on Twitter. And his answer is surprising.

The Buzz – Hugh Grant Banned from The Daily Show?
Stewart reveals production problems in past with Grant.

Jon Stewart revealed in an interview with Stephen Colbert recently that there are, in fact, guests he hasn’t enjoyed having on his show The Daily Show.

“He’s giving everyone s*** the whole time, and he’s a big pain in the a**,” he told Colbert in the interview.

But who was he talking about? Stewart revealed because of his attitude, actor Hugh Grant has been banned from the show, as well as being his least favorite guest.

“And we’ve had dictators on the show,” he added.

But it looks like Stewart is not alone in his sentiments, but he has an unlikely ally — Hugh Grant himself.

“Turns out my inner crab got the better of me with TV producer in 09,” Grant tweeted on Friday. “Unforgivable. J Stewart correct to give me kicking.”

Grant also apparently made another mistake while on the show by complaining about the clip playing — a clip provided by his publicist.

“What is that clip? It’s a terrible clip,” Grant reportedly said, to which Stewart replied, “Well, then make a better f***ing movie.”

No matter what his attitude, though, Grant still seems to be as popular as ever. He starred in two huge films this year, including Cloud Atlas. He will also soon be shooting the third in the Bridget Jones series, Bridget Jones Baby, along with Renee Zellweger, which is set to be released in 2013.

Jon Stewart has not replied yet to Hugh Grant’s apology, but it’s questionable whether he would let him back on the show even if he forgives him.

The host is also up to big things, but mostly related to The Daily Show, which has now been on the air for 17 years and is going as strong as ever (even with the end of election 2012). They have started the careers of some big names, like Stephen Colbert, Steve Carell, Rob Cordry, Ed Helms and others.
