Cuoco, an avid equestrian, reveals to Self, “Two years ago, I fell off my horse and crushed my leg. Before surgery, I had to sign a contract saying it was okay if they had to amputate!” Kaley continues, “When I awoke with my leg, I was so happy. I was back on my horse while the cast was still on. I have four horses, and they are my everything. I was determined not to lose that.” However, Cuoco explains she is a little more aware of the dangers involving horseback riding. She adds, “I am a little more careful now.”

Kaley Cuoco also offers insider information on her diet and tips for living a balanced life in the latest issue of Self. Says Cuoco, “When I was growing up, my parents’ rule was don’t do just one thing. So, if I was auditioning, I had to play tennis or go to art camp, too. Big Bang is unbelievable, but it’s not the only thing in my life.”

Kaley Cuoco is a native Californian and was engaged to Josh Resnik from October 2011 to March 2012. In late March, Us Weekly published photos of Cuoco kissing musician Bret Bollinger court side during a Los Angeles Lakers basketball game. Prior to her relationship with Resnik, Kaley dated her Big Bang Theory co-star, Johnny Galecki.
