The choice of Candice Swanepoel for this year’s Victoria’s Secret Swim 2013 catalog cover should come as no surprise to anyone. She’s been the face of the catalog twice before.
We all know about Sports Illustrated‘s annual swimsuit issue, but the Victoria’s Secret swimsuit catalog is also becoming an important cover for models in the industry. For the third year in a row, Candice Swanepoel is the sexy face of the Swim 2013 issue.
On the cover, the South African model is wearing a bandeau top bedazzled in jewels and rhinestones while directing a smoldering stare into the camera. If that’s is what the cover offers, we can’t wait to see what is inside.
This is the 16th year of the swimsuit issue for the lingerie company, and each year the Victoria’s Secret Angels vie for the coveted cover. However, Swanepoel seems pretty nonchalant about her three-peat victory.
She posted a photo of the catalog on her Facebook page with the simple statement, “The sexiest swim season ever starts now… Swim 2013. In homes now.”
The catalog shoot took place in the tropical locales of the Turks and Caicos Islands and Miami, Florida, with photographer Russell James behind the lens. Other Victoria Secret Angels in this year’s catalog include Karlie Kloss, Behati Prinsloo, and Miranda Kerr.
If the Swim 2013 catalog isn’t enough for fans, the VS All Access website will feature four swim videos with the Angels paired with musical artists. The first of the Angels & Artists videos was launched on Friday with Swanepoel and Doutzen Kroes paired with Bruno Mars‘ “Locked Out of Heaven.”
The company will be releasing three more videos through March, but it’s keeping the musical artists under wraps until the next launch date.
With that sexy, sizzling combination of sexy ladies and hot musicians, a Victoria’s Secret fan can’t lose.
