Jimmy Kimmel celebrates his first night in a new time slot by playing host to his bestie, Jennifer Aniston.
OK, maybe the two aren’t best friends. But they’re friendly enough to vacation together. Jimmy Kimmel is good friends with Jennifer Aniston‘s fiancé, Justin Theroux. That’s how he found himself on vacation with the couple during the holidays. How do we know they vacationed together?
Aniston showed off some cellphone footage of the guys when they hit up the day spa with the ladies. Kimmel, Theroux and John Krasinski apparently went for mani-pedi treatments while the girls got massages. The vacation details weren’t the even the highlight of the interview, though.
Jimmy Kimmel Live marked its first night at a new time (11:35 p.m. Eastern) with Jennifer Aniston and musical guest No Doubt. Aniston, looking absolutely adorable in a little black number, came out with a sledgehammer and construction headphones. She completely destroyed his desk.
“Out with the old, in with the new,” she tried, before Kimmel reminded her that the desk was new.
The highlight of the night, though, was definitely when Jen stepped up to cut Kimmel’s hair. Apparently, that’s how she used to score a few bucks from time to time. Wielding a pair of scissors, she took to Jimmy’s already rather close-cropped hair.
When Kimmel asked her to be careful because he had a balding spot in the back, Aniston smirked and told him she saw it. If she ever wants to give up acting, she could try her hand at stand-up comedy. The girl has excellent timing.
All in all, we think Jimmy’s first night on his new time slot was a huge success. While he can sometimes come across comedically awkward, the late-night host was completely at ease around his buddy, Jen.
