Breaking Bad cast members talk about the finale

If you’re not anxious for the Breaking Bad season finale, you’re probably not a fan. Even the cast knows the end will be bittersweet.

The Breaking Bad finale is eeking ever closer and fans are dreading the show’s impending doom. When we talked with Bryan Cranston and Anna Gunn on the Golden Globes red carpet last night, though, the two seemed slightly more optimistic.

“It is bittersweet,” Anna Gunn told us. “I mean, I love this show I love the people. …So it’s gonna be sad to see it all come to an end, but it’s the time.”

Bryan Cranston agreed. Right now he’s doing OK, but when it’s time to film that last episode, he knows it might be a little rough.

“…I imagine by the end of when we’re shooting in March that there will be some tears,” he said.

However, Cranston was quick to remind us that starting and ending things was just part of being an actor.

“In an odd way, we’re sort of used to that, as actors,” he explained. “Starting and stopping projects, splitting apart. Creating new bonds, splitting those apart. You know, we’re kinda like atoms.”

Gunn also reminded us that while we’re going to miss our favorite characters, we’re leaving them in a good place instead of keeping the show on for 10 more season of utter nonsense, like so many shows try to do.

“I think Vince knows exactly what the arc of the story line is and what he wants it to be,” Gunn said. “And so I think it’s the right time.”

Cranston was snubbed by the Globes, again, but we’re sure he knows how much his fans love him. And, while we still don’t know exactly when Breaking Bad‘s finale will air, fans of the show are definitely only looking forward to the episode with a cringe. It’s going to be a rough year for everyone involved.
