Kim Kardashian stopped by Jimmy Kimmel last night and couldn’t stop giving away baby details, from fashion to how long before she knows the gender (one week)!
Kim Kardashian and sister Kourtney Kardashian stopped by Jimmy Kimmel Live Tuesday night and wasted no time getting right into baby talk. Kim Kardashian was honest about answering host Jimmy Kimmel‘s many pregnancy questions, some of which were very personal.
Kim and Kanye’s baby: No hand-me-downs!
Kim told Jimmy Kimmel she and boyfriend Kanye West had discussed having kids together before, but were not seriously trying for a baby. Said Kim, “We talked about it, but it was a nice surprise.” Also interesting was the order in which she broke her pregnancy news to her family. Kim can’t seem to keep straight who she told first about the baby, it was either Kourtney or mom Kris Jenner, but brother Rob Kardashian was definitely last to know.

Kim Kardashian also told Jimmy Kimmel she can’t wait to find out the baby’s gender and has one more week to go. Sister Khloe Kardashian will be accompanying Kim to that very exciting doctor’s appointment and one thing’s for sure — boy or girl, Kim and Kanye’s baby will be very stylish.
Kim said, “If anyone knows Kanye they just know how into fashion he is, I think he’s going to have things specially made. I don’t think hand-me-downs are going to work.” Kourtney chimed in, adding the baby likely will wear leather pants. Somehow, we’re not surprised.
Kim will not show baby on television
Despite their superstar lifestyles, Kim says she and West hope to keep their baby out of the spotlight. “Our baby’s not really on TV, it’s not going to be on our show,” she said.
Kimmel seemed surprised, and Kardashian assured him that her child would be welcomed to go into Hollywood as a career, but for the child’s early years, she and West, “want to try to keep it as private as possible.”

Kim’s words and seemingly adamant decision to avoid having her baby on television is at direct odds with E! News’ hopes to add the pregnancy and the new baby into the widely popular reality show Keeping Up with the Kardashians. E! president Suzanne Kolb told The Hollywood Reporter earlier this month that a Kim and Kanye baby special was a must for the network.
“Kim and Kanye are an incredibly dynamic couple, and their baby news is just so exciting,” Kolb said. “Like so many Kardashian fans, we love when this close-knit family gets even bigger. We look forward to sharing the joy as they prepare for more diapers, more bottles, and without a doubt, more fabulous baby wear.”
Hmm, looks like Kim Kardashian and Kanye West have other plans regarding their baby’s public life.
