Taylor Swift Valentine’s Day plans: no boys allowed!

Taylor Swift is finally laying off the boyfriends. The serial dater is happy to spend Valentine’s Day with her 15 best friends — no boys allowed!

Despite Taylor Swift‘s crazy love life, with many boyfriends of years past, this Valentine’s Day, Swift says she plans to enjoy the holiday single — as in, no dating.

Swift spoke with Ryan Seacrest on Thursday morning during his popular radio show, On Air with Ryan Seacrest, and made it clear she is finally happy to be single and focusing on her friendships.

Seacrest mentioned to Swift that he’s looking forward to her next single, “22,” which is an upbeat track about friendship and life when a girl is, well, 22 and single. Seacrest asked Swift her thoughts on this past year, and she was all smiles.

“It was the best. Thank you for mentioning that, I’m really stoked that is going to be the next single. I wrote it about my friends — finally I’ve got this amazing group of girlfriends and we tell each other everything. We’re together all the time. I think that was kind of the marker of me being 22 — is like having all these friends and there are a lot of question marks like where you’re going, who you’re going to meet. All those things. But the one thing that you have is each other.”

Swift continued, “It’s a big circle [of friends]. I’d say I’d have like 15 best friends… I’d rather have more than friends rather than put up all these walls around your life and not trust people. I’ve trusted more and more as this [career] has gotten thankfully, bigger.”

When Seacrest asked Swift about how she plans to spend the upcoming romance-themed holiday, Swift was open and confessed she’s taking a brief break from love — for the day anyway.

“I’m probably going to be with my friends or rehearsing… I’ll be like working on the lighting rig and like, the lighting cues,” said Swift. “And I don’t think I’d rather be anywhere else to be honest.”

We’re happy for you Taylor; glad to see you’re spending Valentine’s Day focusing on you and not some guy.
