Extra‘s Renee Bargh caught up with Adam Levine at the release of his new fragrance yesterday and got the Maroon 5 frontman to tell his best kept Grammy secret: Who’s he taking to the show?
“My mother. I love my mom. I’m excited to take her,” he told Bargh. “When she came with me one year, we won, so I thought she was my good luck charm. She should come again.”
Awww! Taking your mom is always in style, but it seems to really be trending these days. Just a few weeks ago, Ryan Gosling took his mother to a premiere. We at SheKnows definitely appreciate all those mamas, too. What would we do without their sons? Mother Levine gifted us with one adorable and talented musician.

That talent is what has landed him a spot on this year’s Grammy stage, too. As to what he’ll be performing or whom he’ll be performing with: That’s his second best kept secret!
When Bargh asked about Sunday’s performance, all he’d tell her is that he’s “doing an amazing performance that I want to be kinda tight-lipped about. It’s the Grammys! It’s a big deal.”
Oh, we’re so stoked now! But, seriously, Adam: You could have at least told her if you’d be wearing a shirt or not!

As for who he’s most excited to see perform, Adam Levine gave a stealthy, “everyone.” Do you think he really couldn’t decide or just couldn’t remember who else is performing? He’s only got a slightly busy schedule — You can’t fault him for possibly losing track!
