David Hasselhoff‘s 20-year-old daughter said in a public interview the news of her DUI are absolutely false, but the courts say otherwise.
In any other case, it might be a matter of he said, she said. Except in this case, because there is a little piece of proof called “court records.”
Hayley Hasselhoff, David Hasselhoff’s daughter, told Entertainment Tonight this week that she was not arrested, and the media was making things up.

“The story that broke this week is absolutely false,” Hasselhoff told ETonline. “I did not get a DUI, nor did I get arrested. I wish that the press would do their diligence to get their facts straight.”
Sounds like a likely story. The daughter of a famous actor accused of things they didn’t do, to create a good story. But it looks like Hasselhoff is the one who needs to get her facts straight: E! News obtained the arrest document.

“In the criminal complaint, the charges were filed on Jan. 3,” said E! News. “However, because [Hayley], or an attorney appearing on her behalf, did not show for her arraignment on Jan. 16, a bench warrant was issued and her bail was set at $26,000.”
Hasselhoff had been arrested on Nov. 25, 2012, not only for the DUI but also for driving 85 mph in a 55 mile-per-hour zone.
On Feb. 11, an attorney did appear and the bench warrant was withdrawn. Hasselhoff is supposed to appear in court on Feb. 25 to enter a plea.
The 20-year-old continued her ET rant by blaming the media for always attempting to attack her and her family with lies.

“Unfortunately, this is not the first time my family and I have been falsely accused in the media,” Hasselhoff added. “However, since drinking and driving is not a matter I take lightly, I wanted to speak up for the sake of my family, friends and supporters.”
David’s little girl could face up to six months in jail.
