The Bachelor’s Tierra gets an engagement ring

She was one of the most talked-about rose recipients this year on The Bachelor, dinged for her smug-sounding comments about how much men adore her. Bachelor Sean Lowe sent her packing, but someone else signed on for a lifetime.

The Buzz – The Bachelor’s Tierra is Engaged
Tierra from “The Bachelor” is now engaged.

The Bachelor
is all about starting romances, but perhaps the hottest one it launched was behind the scenes.

Tierra LiCausi, one of the latest season’s most controversial bachelorettes who drew criticism for telling fellow candidates that she could get engaged any ol’ time because “Men love me,” is engaged: to the boyfriend who dumped her right before she went on the show.

“It’s someone she had been seeing before the show. They’ve known each other three or four years,” Tierra’s brother Tyler explained to Wetpaint Entertainment.

“Unfortunately, they had a bad breakup. When that happened… she signed up to go on The Bachelor,” Tyler said. “Right after she left to film, though, he had a huge change of heart and wanted to get her back.”

Translation: He saw her on TV with Sean Lowe and couldn’t take it.

Oooh, is that not the perfect breakup/make up story? Isn’t that what you always dream, that somebody dumps you and then sees you with somebody new and instantly, desperately wants you back?

Lucky Tierra.

Her fiancé, unnamed in press reports, called ABC to find out where LiCausi was filming, and set out to fly to St. Croix to win her back. When she was kicked off the show, the two were able to rendezvous in Colorado.

“That was in November,” adds Tyler. “He proposed in January… they’re doing great.”

Tyler also told Wetpaint that though he didn’t want to name his sister’s fiancé, he and his family have a well-known Las Vegas business.

OMG, is it one of the dudes from Pawn Stars? Spill, Tyler!
