2013 MTV Movie Award nominees, Ted is king!

The MTV Movie Awards are coming. This spring, they’ll honor the best in popcorn entertainment. The R-rated comedy Ted leads the pack alongside Quentin Tarantino’s Django Unchained.

Hollywood is loosening up. Now that the Oscars have come and gone it’s time to have fun. The MTV Movie Awards have revealed their 2013 nominations. This year’s frontrunners are Ted and Django Unchained. They each pulled seven nods including Movie of the Year.

This is the first time in years The Twilight Saga hasn’t dominated the list. The final entry, Breaking Dawn — Part 2 only received one nomination and it’s for Best Shirtless Performer (no surprise there). Other notable nominees include Silver Linings Playbook, The Avengers and The Dark Knight Rises.
