Lady Gaga isn’t going to let a pesky little thing like hip surgery slow her down! The singer’s manager has given anxious fans an update on her health.

After undergoing hip surgery on Feb. 20 to repair a “labral tear of the right hip,” an injury that had Lady Gaga unable to walk and forced the cancelation of the Born This Way Ball tour, the singer is recovering nicely.
The 26-year-old, who managed to make even a wheelchair into a style statement, is “doing unbelievable,” according to her manager, Vincent Herbert. In an interview conducted on Tuesday, he added that the megastar is “ready to get back to work” on her new album, ARTPOP.

When pushed for more details, he scantily elaborated that Gaga is “doing wonderful, doing great.”
The man of many reassurances went on to describe ARTPOP as “very, very refreshing,” adding that Lady Gaga is as true to her trademark style as ever, as she continues to “push the envelope.”
“I can’t wait for the world to hear her new music and see her come back healthy, strong and better than ever,” Herbert shared.

While no date has yet been set for Lady Gaga’s return to the stage, her manager assured those expecting a top-notch performance that all of the singer’s eye-catching moves will remain despite the hip problems.
“Exactly…They’ll be there,” he commented. “She works really hard and things happen.”
In a post-surgery message to fans, the singer said she is thinking of her health woes as “just a bump in the road” compared to what others have gone through.
“I love you and am proud to be a part of your lives,” she gushed to her Little Monster legion. “If you can do it, I can do it too, and if we stick together we can get through anything.”
